Location: Piedmont Park, 1071 Piedmont Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30309*
The walk is just under a mile and a half in length. Participants and their pets can expect to proceed at a leisurely pace. Water stations will be provided throughout the route for people and their pets. A veterinarian will also be in attendance for any animal injuries or emergencies.

Rules To Remember

All animals must be spayed or neutered, leashed, licensed and have complete, up-to-date vaccinations and rabies shots.

Pets must be kept under control at all times. Unruly participants will be asked to leave.

Animals not trained to walk on a leash must be properly confined to a carrier.

Do not bring animals needing a muzzle.

Water will be served in a community-bowl style. If you require a separate drinking container for your pet, please bring one.

Participants are expected to practice responsible pet ownership – please come prepared to clean up after your companion animal. Baggies and trash receptacles will be provided.

No bicycles, skateboard or skates are allowed. The walk route is wheelchair & stroller accessible.

AHS retains the right to deny participation to any animal due to health or behavior reasons.
All participants must sign the Waiver/Release Form prior to walking. By signing this waiver, AHS will also have permission to use photographs for future Pet Parade promotional materials that may contain your image. Download a waiver here.
