Raise Money for Animals, and Win!

Raise money for animals by recruiting family, friends, neighbors and co-workers through your personalized Pet Parade web-page. This is a great opportunity to share your special pet and their story with the world, while supporting pet fundraising for the animals of AHS (see personalized web page tips below). Trophies will be awarded for the top individual fundraisers and teams.  Additionally, fundraisers who reach targeted levels will receive great giveaways. All registered participants will receive access to the walk and a Pet Parade commemorative T-shirt.

Can't attend? No problem. By creating a webpage to raise money, animals in need will benefit from your support, without you having to pay the registration fee.

Need a pledge form to track your donations? Click here. You can also track your progress through your personalized web-page.

The average cost to find an AHS animal a new home is $300, and we encourage each individual walker to raise that amount as a minimum. And you can be sure that for every $300 you raise, the money for an animal’s adoption process and care goes directly to helping an animal find a loving family!

Those wishing to register after the deadline but prior to the walk may do so by coming to AHS Adoptions (981 Howell Mill Road) Monday, April 16 - Friday, April 20 between the hours of 11am - 4pm for the 'day of' rate of $35 per person.

Fundraising Tips – provided by FirstGiving

HAVE A PLAN, AND STICK TO IT
Achieving your pet fundraising goal is easiest when you create a detailed plan outlining the steps you'll need to complete in order to meet your objectives.

CUSTOMIZE AND PERSONALIZE YOUR PAGE
Your personal webpage is your chance to customize your fundraising message to your family, friends, and other donors. Generally speaking, people contribute to your cause based on the personal message you convey about the need to support fundraising for pets. Therefore, it is important to spend time customizing your FirstGiving page.

Remember, a more compelling site leads to better results and helps raise more money for animals!
